Q: Why won't my extractor start?

Q: Why does my machine run then just stop?

Thermal overload

Leave machine to cool for 15 minutes and switch on. If the motor still doesn't run, it will need replacing.


Q: Should I be concerned that the bag is drawn up into the extractor?

A: Don't panic, this is quite normal and shows the machine has good suction.


Q: Why did the bag burst when the machine was turned on?

A: The machine could be drawing too much vacuum, which can be resolved by introducing a pressure relief valve/device.


Q: Why does the system have no suction at the dust generator?

A: There are a number of possible reasons:

Check for obvious signs of incorrect assembly

Filters are blocked

Clean or change filters

Hose or ducting is blocked

Clear blockage


Q: Why is there excessive motor noise coming from my machine?

A: This could be due to worn or damaged components, which will require the replacement of the motor assembly.


Q: Should I be concerned that warm air is blowing from the motor cover?

A: Don't worry, this is quite normal as the motors exhaust warm air whilst in use.
